About the Artist
Cyprian Nocon is a graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice (2011-2017). He defended his diploma entitled "Before the premiere" in 2016. He is the author of several individual exhibitions m.in in Lyon, Maastricht and Warsaw. He took part in art fairs in China and Great Britain. He paints various cycles m.in the feast of polyphony, Before the premiere, Masks. His paintings are in collections in many countries.
Cyprian Nocoń's paintings are large-format oil paintings on canvas. At first glance, the works seem to be abstractions, they have the remains of the figurative beginnings of Noconia's painting. These are well-thought-out and well-composed forms in which realism disintegrates into abstract forms, open to the viewer. The theme of theatre as a still life of the self-image. "The show" began at the end of his studies at the Academy, where he showed the emptiness of theatre as a still life.
Nowadays, this painting flourishes and exudes energy, something begins, sometimes explodes or explodes. It is worth paying attention to the composition and colouring of the paintings. The harmony of colours and the division of weight does not overwhelm and sticks to the whole like a symphonic form. The author leaves the audience of his works with questions, and also gives a ticket to the road towards the endless story.
